January 22 – 26 Jump Rope for Heart
Monday – Jan 22nd – Red for healthy hearts & Sun/Fun Glasses
Wear Red and fome fun/sun glasses today and… Be on the lookout as we start out with Blaster to kick off the week of Jump Rope for Heart activities – he doesn’t mess around with sneaky sodium (salt) and is always on the lookout for healthy foods low in sodium! Check your labels to see the sodium you’re eating in your snack today???
Tuesday – January 23 – Ninja Day or wear black, purple & green
Dress in his colors or Ninja up to celebrate with Jax who is always looking for ways to protect you, and stay healthy by eating right, drinking water, and exercising daily! Please NO Ninja weapons needed to be healthy today!
Wednesday – January 24th – Disco/Tye-Dyed/Neon clothing Day!
Disco reminds everyone that eating colorful fruits and vegetables is good for their hearts! Eat healthy and mix up your colors inside and out today!!!
Thursday – January 25th - Flower/Team Power Up Day!
Wear you’re your favorite team jersey or “flower” bling or Hawaiian print to pair up for a knock-out day of fun! Rocky encourages you to be active and play for 60 minutes a day, while Petunia always says NO to tobacco products and stays far away from them - flowers just like people need clean air to breathe!
Friday – January 26th – Cen-Den Spirit Day (Blue/Yellow Day)
Finster is a water loving dude just as we Dolphins are – he drink lots of water and stays away from sugary beverages! Stay hydrated and stick with frequent water breaks during the day for a heathly happy body!!!
