Parent/Teacher Conferences October 29 & 30, 2020

We are looking forward to celebrating your child’s growth at Parent/Teacher Conferences, this Thursday and Friday, October 29th and 30th.  Your child’s teacher should have contacted you to schedule a convenient time to meet.  If you have not yet scheduled a conference time, please reach out to your child’s teacher or call the school office for help.  If you are unable to attend, please let the teacher know as soon as possible so that your visit can be rescheduled.

Because this year is so unique in terms of health and safety, we would like to remind you that masks are required in the building.  We ask that you look to reschedule or request a virtual meeting if:  1)  You are not feeling well.  2)  You have been exposed to someone who is sick.  3)  You are awaiting test results.

Thank you for sharing your children with us.

As you plan to attend your child’s Parent/Teacher Conference, we wanted to share the following guidelines to honor our work toward healthy practices.

  • All adults and children MUST wear a mask at all times in the building. If you forget to bring one, please stop in the office, where one can be provided for you.
  • Please use the hand sanitizers provided at the entrance to the school or just outside the classroom door.
  • We would like to focus on limiting people in the hallways, so please arrive on-time and plan to leave the building when your child’s conference is finished. For your convenience and the concerns with crowding, your child’s teacher will place extra focus on keeping to the conference time schedule.
  • When possible, please do not bring additional family members. We understand that this may not be possible in all cases, but we appreciate your effort to limit the number of people in the room.
  • Each teacher will have a designated, well-spaced location for conferences and all table surfaces will be wiped down between meetings.

Our apologies if these guidelines feel a bit more restrictive than usual. We are very happy to be together and are working hard to keep our students, staff, and families safe and healthy. While many things have changed over the last few months, some things have not. The CenDen staff continues to be very dedicated to providing the best education possible for our students and communication with our families is still a vital part in the work we do. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating your child’s growth.
