We are planning for in-person spring concerts at the end of April for grades Kindergarten through Third Grade. Here is how we will make this work.
- Each grade level will have an individual concert - fewer students, fewer audience members
- Concerts will be outdoors, with an indoor backup depending on the weather
- All students, staff, and audience members will be masked even though we're outside
- The indoor backup will still be socially distanced
- All concerts will be happening at Central-Denison to keep us in our home base and not traveling to other buildings
- If cases are increasing again, we will switch to a virtual concert and the concert date will be the video release date
Please know that we are being extremely flexible, and we are prepared for any changes that may occur. Our students deserve a chance to show off their hard work, but the safety and health of our school population are just as important.
Here are the performance dates for each grade level - announcements have been sent home; more specific information will be provided as the concert dates approach. We are excited for some normalcy and a chance to perform!
Kindergarten - Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at 6 pm
1st Grade - Thursday, April 22, 2021, at 6 pm
2nd Grade - Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 6 pm
3rd Grade - Thursday, April 29, 2021, at 6 pm
