Hey CenDen Families!
We are very excited to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year! We have missed the energy and smiling faces of our students and are ready to get back to school for a new adventure in learning!
Our staff has been busy preparing for the return. Whether face-to-face or virtual, you can count on high quality instruction from a caring and dedicated staff that supports the needs of our students and their families.
We apologize for the late notice in sharing teacher placement with you. Teacher assignments will be available on PowerSchool early next week. With the added choice of virtual or face-to-face instruction and some late e-registrations, creating well-balanced classrooms has been a bit of a challenge. If you haven’t done so already, please register your child through the e-registration process as soon as possible. If you have questions about how to do that, Mrs. Draper can help you. She can be reached by phone at (262)-348-4000 or by email at [email protected].
This year, in order to honor social distancing practices and avoid the crowded situations that happen at Open House, our teachers will be having face-to-face, Welcome Conferences with their students. This will allow each family the opportunity to meet the teacher in a well-spaced environment, drop off school supplies and talk about the plans and expectations for the school year. It will also give parents time to share their concerns about the new year. For the health and safety of all, please remember that all individuals, age 4 through adulthood, should be prepared to wear a mask while in the building.
Welcome Conferences will begin next week and can be scheduled through August 31st. Your child’s teacher will be reaching out to schedule a convenient time to meet with you. If you have not heard from your child’s teacher by Wednesday, please call the school office so that we can follow-up.
We know that you have many questions about the upcoming school year. Some of these can be discussed with your child’s teacher at the Welcome Back Conference, others may be answered in the upcoming CenDen Newsletter, or you are always welcome to call the CenDen Office and we will be happy to help.
We are proud to be back with our fingers crossed for a healthy new school year! Be well and see you soon!
Mrs. Becky Buhler & Mr. Colin Nugent
